We are now seeking feedback on our proposed new vision and mission that will establish a shared vision and future direction for the whole of the community and the future of the council.
The vision and mission statements were developed based on what over 300 residents told us was important in our consultation sessions and via an online survey.
These statements will be used to develop the operational plan and budget for 2107-18, and be the foundation upon which we will build our Community Strategic Plan for the newly-elected council, come September 2017.
We’ve also used this feedback to develop a shortlist of taglines that we’re asking residents to vote on.
Take the survey
You can provide your feedback and in a short online survey(link is external) or in person at any of council’s customer service centres. All staff are encouraged to take part and have their say when the survey opens.
Feedback closes 24 April 2017.
Murray River Council’s new tagline, visions and mission statements will be announced in May 2017.
