Playgrounds to re-open

Local playgrounds, skateparks, BBQ and recreation spaces will start reopening in Murray River Council.

This follows the gradual easing of restrictions in NSW, which includes the use of outdoor equipment.

Council will begin the process of reopening playgrounds from Friday 15 May, following cleaning at each site.

You can use outdoor exercise and playground equipment, but do so with caution.

  • Wash your hands before and after you use this equipment.
  • Assume the person who has used the equipment before you has the virus.

Do not go out if you’re sick and maintain physical distancing.

Remember that the public gathering rule of no more than 10 still applies.

Please also remember it is still a requirement to stay at home where possible.
