Making a Submission

Council encourages members of the public/community to take the opportunity to read, examine or make a submission on information that is placed on public display.

If you are objecting to a development application, you must provide the reasons as to why you object. These reasons will be carefully considered by Council in its assessment of the application.

When making a submission, please ensure you provide your

  • full name
  • contact phone number
  • email and postal address, and the
  • Development Application number

Note: If you make a submission you are required to disclose information about any political donations or gifts. This includes:

  • all reportable political donations made to any local Councillor of Council
  • all gifts made to any local Councillor or employee of Council, within a period of two years before the application is made

If you have any disclosures, please include these in your submission.
