We're looking to streamline what assets we are ‘investing’ in to make and keep Murray River Council sustainable into the future.
Council manages this local cemetery in Barham where the first interments took place over a century ago.
The Barham Cemetery consists of three religious sections including Anglican (also known as Church of England), Uniting (Presbyterian and Methodist) and Roman Catholic. There is also a General Section and a Lawn Cemetery, allowing for both burials and cremated remains.
Vehicle access for burials, monumental masons, visitors and maintenance staff into the cemetery is from Moulamein Road. This access leads into a gravelled area and allows direct access to the burial sections for funeral directors, monumental masons and maintenance staff.
