About the Opportunity:

These hands-on roles are based across our Moama and Mathoura teams, where you’ll be responsible for general labouring and operating plant and equipment for road construction, road maintenance, town maintenance, and drainage works. You’ll work under Council’s policies and procedures, contributing to essential services that keep our communities safe and connected.

What you need to be successful:

Mandatory

  • MR Licence (or higher)
  • Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Plans certification (Safework NSW IMP, TCR ticket)
  • OHS Construction Induction Card (or equivalent)
  • National Police Check
  • Pre-employment Medical

Desirable

  • Experience in road construction, maintenance, and drainage operations
  • Previous experience in Local Government
  • Ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision
  • Competence in operating complex machinery
