Murray River Council is excited to announce its upcoming Small Business Month event, featuring resilience expert Michael Licenblat.

Taking place on Friday 13 October, the breakfast event promises to offer small businesses an insight into building pressure-proof cultures that are adaptable to change.

Michael Licenblat, a respected authority in the field of resilience, is renowned for his ability to empower individuals and teams to overcome challenges, setbacks, and rejections.

With over two decades of experience, Michael has carved a niche for himself by aiding businesses in crafting high-performing and resilient teams.

Acting Mayor Frank Crawley is encouraging local businesses to register for the event.

“The small business community has been hit hard over the last two years with the pandemic, border closures and floods. All of which many businesses are still trying to recover from.”

“So, whilst we continue to advocate for funding support to aid this recovery, we hope this event will offer an opportunity for small business owners, managers, and professionals to gain valuable advice from a proven expert in resilience and high-performance strategies.”

“This is about helping businesses gain essential skills to tackle set-backs, confront challenges, and propel their businesses forward with newfound strength.”

Michael Licenblat's expertise stems from his early success in establishing a thriving natural therapies business, overcoming numerous market rejections, refusals, and setbacks.

Drawing upon a diverse background in business, psychology, Shiatsu therapy, and more than 25 years of martial arts experience, Michael has become a pioneer in creating "pressure-proof" cultures that allow companies to outshine their competition.

Through interactive and hands-on presentations, Michael empowers audiences to understand and interpret "pressure patterns" and cultivate personal resilience.

“We are hoping attendees will leave the event armed with actionable ideas to help drive businesses forward in the face of challenges,” Cr Crawley said.
