Council’s offices, libraries and depots will close for the Christmas 2021 / New Year 2022 period from 4pm Tuesday 21 December 2021 and will reopen on Tuesday 4 January 2022 at normal business hours.
If you have an issue with water, sewer, animals or roads during this period you can still contact our call centre at any time on 1300 087 004.
The Moulamein Business Centre will be open for business during this period on:
- Wednesday 29 December, 9.30am-1pm
The Mathoura Visitor and Business Centre will be open for business during this period on:
- Thursday 23 December, 9am-12.30pm
- Wednesday 29 December, 9am-12.30pm
- Friday 31 December, 9am-12.30pm
Christmas bin collections
This year there will be no changes to bin days over the Christmas/ New Year period. Your bins will be collected on their normal day.
Waste Facilities
- All waste facilities will be closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
- Wednesday 22 December: all waste facilities except for Moama will be closed on this day.
Other than these public holiday closures, and the above mentioned 22 December date, all waste sites will open on their usual operating days during the Christmas/New Year Period.
