Council services
Council’s Customer Service Centres, Libraries and Depots will be closed for the Christmas/New Year period from 2pm Wednesday 24 December 2025 and will reopen on Monday 5 January 2026.
After hours/ emergencies
For all emergencies relating to compliance, water and/or roads, the call centre number is available 24-hours-a-day: 1300 087 004.
Kerbside bin collections
Kerbside bin collection will occur on the usual days throughout the Christmas and New Year period, except for the following days:
- Kerbside collection scheduled for Thursday 25 December will be collected on Friday 26 December instead.
- Kerbside collection scheduled for Friday 26 December will be collected on Saturday 27 December instead.
Normal collections will resume on Monday 29 December.
Waste facilities
All waste facilities, including our Return and Earn Depot in Moama, will be closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. All other operating days remain the same.
