Murray River Council wishes to advise the community of changes to the Mathoura Visitor and Business Centre (MVBC) as we prepare for important interior renovations.
Temporary Relocation to Conargo Street:
From Monday, 15 December services will operate from our Murray River Council Conargo Street office.
Opening hours will remain unchanged: Monday-Thursday, 10am-4pm.
Residents and visitors can continue to visit during this time for enquiries, service requests, payments and tourism information.
Library Service
The Mobile Library has relocating to Mathoura while the MVBC renovations are underway- it will operate Monday to Thursday. Residents can access library services by visiting the Conargo Street office and speaking with our friendly Customer Service team.
This arrangement will remain in place until the MVBC renovations are complete.
Community Group Meetings
Regular community groups and activities will continue as planned, meeting at the War Memorial Hall at their usual meeting times.
We thank everyone for their patience and understanding while we improve the MVBC facilities. A reopening date for the facility will be advised once confirmed.
