Murray River Council will soon be commencing work on Moulamein’s flood mitigation infrastructure at Triangle Park.
The works involve implementation of stormwater backflow prevention infrastructure to stop river floodwaters from entering the stormwater network, plus the addition of a footpath along the levee at the Park.
Our contractors will be working in and around Triangle Park from Wednesday 4 June 2025, for approximately 4 weeks.
What to expect:
Whilst the works are underway, Triangle Park will be closed to public access.
The Tuora Street service road directly behind Moulamein Public School will be partially closed off.
Please note, the school can still be accessed by pedestrians via the nature strip and car parking along Brougham Street.
Pedestrians and motorists are reminded to take care around the work zone during this period.
Should you have any questions regarding the works, please contact Council’s Project Team on 1300 087 004.
Thank you for your understanding whilst we undertaking these important upgrades.
