Works to upgrade the Langwell Park playground are taking place in August/Septmeber 2026.
The project will extend the existing play area and introduce new equipment to provide more opportunities for children of all ages and abilities to enjoy the space.
Works include site preparation, removal of the existing swing set, installation of new play equipment and new soft fall surfacing. The existing play unit, shade sail and rockers will remain.
New additions include a double swing set, basket swing, inclusive play unit and picnic table.
To ensure the safety of the community and contractors, the playground will be closed for the duration of the works. We appreciate your patience while these improvements are completed and look forward to welcoming the community back to an enhanced play space
