Upgrades works are taking place at the intersection of Moulamein Road and Barham Road, approximately 10 km north of Barham, under the Australian Government Black Spot Program.

The project involves a full rehabilitation of the intersection and construction of dedicated turning lanes to improve road safety, including:

  • A dedicated right-turn lane from Moulamein Road into Barham Road.
  • A dedicated left-turn lane from Moulamein Road into Barham Road.
  • Dedicated left-turn and right-turn lanes from Barham Road into Moulamein Road.

During construction, motorists should expect traffic control measures and delays (up to 10-minutes) while works are undertaken.
