From Monday 19 January - Friday 27 March 2026, our team will be widening and rehabilitating the Wakool Road.
Works will be occurring approx 29km from the Deniliquin Roundabout.
Single lane closures will be in place during works periods, with reduced speed limits.
The upgrade will include the critical widening and strengthening of sections of the road to help prevent the premature deterioration of road edges and surfaces.
Reliable roads are of particular importance in an area like ours that is rich in agriculture and relies heavily on freight trucks to move stock and product…so we are pleased to be progressing with this project.
