Temporary food business permit

Any business that handles food must be registered with Council.

The ‘Temporary Food Business Permit’ applies to food being sold from a temporary structure (like a stall or stand) for a limited or periodic time at an approved event. Examples include the sale of food at fairs, festivals, markets or shows.

Things to consider:

  • Make sure you have your business or organisation details on hand, including trading name if relevant.
  • You will also need details of your nominated Food Safety Supervisor, including their certificate number.

Application fees also apply.
