Community Grants Program

Council’s Community Grants program offers financial support for various projects, equipment, events, exhibitions and performances which contribute positively to the Murray River Council community. This funding program runs twice per year and applicants can apply for grants of up to $3,000.

Who can apply?

Community groups and not-for-profit organisations in Murray River Council can apply. Please refer to the Guidelines below for further details on eligibility and assessment criteria.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted online during the application period. To complete the application form, you will need to either log in with an existing SmartyGrants account or create a new one.

Community groups and organisations should use a generic organisation email address (not a personal email) when applying. This ensures that all future correspondence is directed to the organisation, even if there are staff or volunteer changes.
