Local Heritage Fund Program
Once per year, individuals and groups wishing to undertake heritage projects within Murray River Council are invited to apply for financial assistance under Council’s Local Heritage Fund Program.
Applications generally open in July.
The program provides funding for conservation projects (e.g. repair of original features and painting in period colours) for heritage items and items of heritage significance within Murray River Council.
Generally, grants are given for amounts between $1,000 and $5,000.
Who can apply?
All owners or managers of eligible heritage projects (refer to list in the guidelines) that are in the Murray River Council Local Government Area.
Please note state government agencies cannot apply for funding but may be involved as a project partner.
