Local Heritage Fund Program
Our Local Heritage Fund provides funding for conservation works (labour and materials) for privately owned heritage items listed on Schedule 5 of Council's Local Environmental Plans (LEPs).
An amount of around $13,000 is available each financial year and grants are awarded for amounts generally between $1,000 to $5,000.
Applications are called for once per year, generally opening in July and closing mid-September, with applicants notified of the outcome in October. Projects must be completed by mid-April the following year. Details of specific closing dates will be available via Council’s Smartygrants home page here.
