Local Emergency Management Plans

Council reviews and updates the Local Emergency Management Plan (EMPLAN) which details arrangements for, prevention of, preparation for, response to and recovery from emergencies within our local government area.

Mid-Murray Zone Local Emergency Management Plan

This plan details the arrangements for preparation, response and recovery from emergencies within the Murray River Council and Edward River Council Local Government Areas (LGA).

Mid Murray Zone Bush Fire Risk Management Plan

The Bush Fire Risk Management Plan (BFRMP) provides information on the bush fire risks within our community. It also outlines how land managers along with fire authorities are going to effectively manage those risks through implementing various treatment strategies.
