Below you can access the latest Flood Studies and Floodplain Risk Management Plans for several towns in the Murray River Council area.

Moama

Council is currently delivering a new Flood Study, and Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan for Moama jointly with Campaspe Shire Council with the support of North East Catchment Management Authority (NECMA Victoria) and the Department of Planning and Environment (DPIE NSW). When completed, the new Flood Study and Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan will be adopted by Council and made available to the public. 


Moama Floodplain Management Study 2001:

The Sinclair Knight Merz (2001) Moama Floodplain Management Study (as per below) predates Moama Levee which was completed in 2006. It is has been provided to the general public for information only. Engineering Professional advice will be required to ascertain the extent of the impact of the town levee on the Floodplain Management Study.
